With more than 20 years of experience in healing ranging from Deep Tissue, Medical, Myofascial Release, Swedish, and Wellness, I am well versed in many forms of “Energy” healing techniques as well as breathwork/emotional release methods. My main interests have been in more esoteric forms of meditation and spirituality which I bring into every massage simply as a reflection of who I am.

Howdy! I love what I do. Ever since I had a “yes” feeling about pursuing massage therapy about three years ago, everything has come together beautifully. I attended the Lane Community College massage therapy program and I feel very grateful to have found a supportive environment here at Hand of the Heart.

I look forward to listening to your body and your words to be part of your health journey.

When I’m not massaging, I enjoy snuggling my toddler, playing in the garden, and cooking.

I also speak Spanish! (¡Yo también hablo español!)

After receiving many hours of bodywork in my youth, and knowing that I wanted nothing more than to be a force for good in this world, I tried all sorts of things before remembering the very practice that had been so influential in my life; the practice of massage

I aim to create a space in which no matter what you have going on in your personal or professional life when the two of us are working together for whatever time we have, you feel safe, comforted, and heard. I’m very intuitive in my practice and work with them to find the perfect rhythm.

I have experience with Swedish, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Cupping, and Gua Sha and love finding ways to incorporate techniques to create an experience that you’ll want to come back for again and again.

For clients who need it, I also am able to provide Lymphatic Drainage & TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Massage.

I look forward to working with you!

I grew up in Eugene. My wife and I moved to Missoula Montana in 2013, lived there for three years, then moved to Bend, OR until we decided to move back to be closer to family in 2023. I have worked in home construction, maintenance, and repair most of my life, but I have wanted to go back to school to pursue a career in something more fulfilling, using my hands to help & heal. So I went back to school in September of 2022 for massage therapy. I graduated from the Sage School of Massage and Esthetics in April 2023.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends, and our two basset hounds, 4 chickens, and 4 koi. I like watching the Oregon Ducks, hiking, camping, and playing golf with my best friend, my wife.

Insurance Accepted: PacificSource & Blue Cross/ Blue Shield , all others are Out of network only, MVA or self pay clients at this time.

Listening is the most important skill I have learned as a massage therapist – listening with my ears, heart, and hands. My focus is on Swedish massage which, among other techniques, uses gliding strokes and light to moderate pressure. While beneficial to anyone, it is an excellent approach for the elderly and people in frail condition. I also use gentle techniques to address fascial pain and muscle tightness. I attended Lane Community College for my massage therapy training, graduating in 2013.

My family and I moved to Oregon in 2000 from the great plains state of South Dakota. Right away, Oregon felt like home! The McKenzie River is my favorite place to camp, hike, raft, and relax. I have three adult children who are making their mark out in the world.

Insurance Accepted: Out of network only, membership and package clients, MVA or self pay clients at this time.
